No money to pay Government salaries. Money to be printed.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says it was not his policy to print money, but had no option but to print money, because the Government does not have money to pay the salaries of public servants.

Mr Wickremesinghe also stated that he will change all of the policies of the Rajapaksa Government. He also stated that his priority was to ensure that people could manage to eat three meals a day in Sri Lanka, and that the situation was going to get worse before it gets better.

The Prime Minister made those remarks while speaking to the BBC.
