The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) have decided to nominate Hambantota District Parliamentarian Ajith Rajapaksha as the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, after the position fell vacant after Ranjith Siyambalapitiya resigned for a second time.
