The decision to cut off water supplies to schools that have not paid their water bills has been revised.

The discussion with the Chairman of the Water Supply Board, this decision was made in accordance with instructions provided by Minister of Education, Susil Premajayantha.

The Water Supply Board has agreed not to cut off water to any schools until the Minister of Education has given assurances that steps would be taken to pay the bills in the future.
