Former Minister and Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) heavyweight Kumara Welgama has been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Homagama Hospital.
The 72-Year-Old was admitted yesterday (09) after being attacked by a mob of protestors at Makumbura, near the Highway Interchange. According to sources, the MP had managed to free himself from the assault and drive himself to the Hospital.
