Sri Lanka was ranked among India, the US, Galápagos Islands, and Australia as a top “next safari” option in other parts of the world, with a unique combination of land animals and sea creatures.
According to Forbes, Sri Lanka has one of the densest populations of Leopards, Asian Elephants, Peacocks, Water Buffalo, Monkeys, and Sloth Bears.
Furthermore, Forbes describes Sri Lanka as one of the only places to easily see the world’s largest living creatures, blue whales.
