Ministry of Health Issues Circular Banning Health Professionals from Talking to the Press

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (News Cutter) — Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health (MOH) has issued a circular prohibiting health professionals from communicating with the media about the country’s health situation.

The circular, released on Friday, July 21, by the Secretary to the MOH, states that officials are not permitted to engage with the media without prior approval. Those who violate this directive will be subject to disciplinary procedures.
