SL Cricketers donates Cricket Supplies for Rural Kids

POLONNARUWA , Sri Lanka (News Cutter) — Sri Lankan cricketers have donated cricket supplies to students at Polonnaruwa school, Aselapura Maha Vidyalaya, who were found to be training in dire conditions.

The students were found using discarded fishing nets and ripped gloves for practice.

The Sri Lankan national team, including Dasun Shanaka, Kusal Mendis, Sadheera Samarawickrama, Avishka Fernando, Prabath Jayasuriya, Dunith Wellalage, and Danushka Gunathilaka, expressed hope that their assistance would inspire future Sri Lankan cricketers.
