Colombo Chief Magistrate ordered to produce Dhaniz Ali in court tomorrow

Colombo Chief Magistrate Court on Monday, August 1, ordered the Prisons Department to produce Dhaniz Ali in court tomorrow.

The Cinnamon Garden Police informed the court that Dhaniz Ali was in remand custody for a case filed at the Fort Magistrate Court and that despite an order to produce Dhaniz Ali at the Colombo Chief Magistrate on Monday, the Prisons Department had not produced him

The Court’s Magistrate Nandana Amarasinghe then issued the order after considering a request made by the Cinnamon Garden Police division stressing that the suspect should be produced in Court tomorrow.

Dhaniz Ali was arrested and accused of trespassing Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and demanding the transmission be interrupted.
