A Sri Lankan athlete and a senior official have made a run for it during the 22nd Commonwealth Games in England, the United Kingdom on Tuesday, August 2.
After the relevant authorities were notified about the disappearance by the management of the Sri Lankan team the Sri Lankan mission in the United Kingdom reportedly seized passports belonging to the Sri Lankan team.
A 180-day visa was issued to the Sri Lankan delegation for the Commonwealth Games, which included 110 athletes and 51 officials,
