Namal Rajapaksa

Namal Rajapaksa to travel abroad?

The counsel requested the Colombo High Court to move the case filed against former Minister Namal Rajapaksa to a closer date as he plans on travelling overseas in due course.

When News Cutter reached out to Namal inquiring whether the minister has any plans to leave the country, He said that nothing has been confirmed yet but also said that he did have ‘official meetings’ to attend.

During the special Parliamentary sessions held on Tuesday, two ministers, Sarath Fonseka and Vijitha Herath urged airports to be closed to prevent those responsible for the current crisis from escaping the country.
