3500 MT gas to arrive today

Suspending distribution for nearly a week, Litro Gas Lanka said that a vessel carrying 3,500 MT of gas would arrive in Colombo today, Monday, on May 30.

Litro said that it would begin unloading today if suitable weather conditions prevail. The process of unloading will go on for ten hours otherwise.

Saying so, the company said that it was hopeful to begin distribution to the market by June 1.

Laugfs Gas, Litro’s sole competitor too assured consumers to begin distribution by June 1.
