The Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has affirmed that almost 50% fuel stations have started using the National Fuel Pass QR system, used to ration fuel distribution in Sri Lanka.
According to the Minister, 4.25 Million users have registered on the platform by 8.30pm today (27).
A total of 481 fuel stations have adopted to the system. 409 stations of the CEYPETCO & 72 of Lanka IOC PLC.
A total of 158,208 users have obtained fuel using the system during the day (27).
